The Calm Waters Team
Meet our Calm Waters Team!
Allie Paschen
Founder and Licensed Massage Therapist #LMT22007175
"I have had a love for water my whole life. In my past I've spent a few summers working on scuba boats and finding my calm in the beautiful ocean waters. When I was introduced to float therapy in 2020 I was able to connect with myself again in a new and wonderful way. I hope that Lafayette loves float therapy and finds as much peace floating as I have.

When not at the float center, I might be enjoying time with family, enjoying good cuisine, writing and reading, or saving the world in video games."

Allie Is also a Licensed massage therapist and has trained at Ho'omana Spa in Maui, Hawaii under Kumu Jeana Iwalani Naluai in August of 2022. Allie's massage focus is in Lomi Lomi , the traditional Hawaiian massage. Book a session with her on Tuesdays to experience massage techniques that have been passed down for generations.
Devin Paschen
Founder
"I am new to floating but with as busy as I am I look forward to unwinding with a sauna/ float combo! Like my wife Allie I've always loved water. Last year I even got my open water scuba to start exploring more of what we can't see from the surface.

I've been working at Anderson Heating & Cooling for the past 8 years and now work for Schuerich Plumbing Heating and Co , so with my background in the trades that makes me the designated maintenance and construction guy for our
small business.

In the evenings I also am the Twin Lakes High School Percussion Director. So when I'm not doing heating & cooling, fixing equipment and helping at Calm Waters, I'm sharing my love for music and percussion with my students!"
Zeppelin and Fizzgig
Calm Waters Mascots
While Zeppelin and Fizzgig may not be at Calm Waters often, on our closed days they may come and hang out and watch mom and dad clean and do maintenance. They don't like floating cause it's too much like taking a bath and they don't like baths. They don't recommend it and also only recommend chin scratches, treats, and belly rubs.

When not at Calm Waters they are often begging for treats, napping all day, and defending the back yard from squirrels or cats that walk by their fence.
